In accordance with Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc's duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards, we are adopting this policy to safeguard the health of our employees and their families, our clients/client families and visitors, and the community at large from infectious diseases that may be reduced by vaccinations. In making this decision, the executive leadership team reviewed recommendations from the Health and Human Services Agency/California Department of Public Health and other organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and local health officials.
In the period August 9 through September 29, 2021, all unvaccinated employees are required to be tested weekly for COVID-19. (See attached CDPH State Health Officer Order – July 26, 2021) All employees must be vaccinated no later than September 30, 2021, or they must have obtained an exemption from vaccination for medical or religious reasons and be tested weekly per the Governor’s Order. (See CDPH State Health Officer Order - August 5, 2021) Unvaccinated employees will be paid for the time needed to take the COVID-19 test weekly and/or to receive the COVID-19 vaccination through September 30, 2021. Please follow the prompts that will allow you to indicate your vaccination information. This link must be used to update or create a record of compliance under this policy.
